Funny and slightly neurotic Josh, played by Sam Huntington (Grimm), had to forgo his bright future when he was turned into a werewolf. He abandoned his family with no explanation and established a lonely existence on the fringes of society. That is until he met Aidan, played by Sam Witwer (Star Wars: The Clone Wars), an 18th century vampire who laid his thirst for human blood to rest, in order to become a nurse and try to give back for the pain he's inflicted for centuries.
The pair form an unlikely bond as they help each other feign normality when their after dark capers get dangerously out of control. Aidan comes up with a solution to stop the terror Josh's werewolf ways are causing, by locking him in an underground room at the hospital overnight. In another bid to act normally they move into a house in Boston, only the house is already occupied ? by Sally, (Meaghan Rath), a ghost who's lost in the spirit world. Being Human isn't as easy as it looks.
The first episode gets stuck right in when Aidan's lured back into the vampire world by an old friend and grows hungry for human blood. While Josh's little sister spots him at the hospital. Not content with his shady explanation for disappearing, she follows Josh into the after dark room and shuts the door locking them in. As night falls and Josh turns, will he attack his own flesh and blood?
