Alice Levine and Laura Jackson
What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
Alice, [To Laura]: Actually you give a good piece of advice - if something goes wrong or something's really embarrassing you always say 'it's a chapter for the book' ? it's all material for the autobiography down the road.
Laura: It makes you feel so much better when something really terrible happens, but also when something really funny happens ? you look back and think 'that's such a good read'.
What advice would you give your teenage self?
Laura: I wish I knew now what I knew then, if that makes sense, but I don't know if I'd change anything ? just enjoy your friends enjoy your life, go out and life a little really.
Alice: I was quite a worrier and quite anxious (which I actually am now), but if I managed to transport a message back to my teenage self it would be ?it's actually all going to be ok?. At least up until the age of 30. I don't know after this, it could all just be a downhill spiral?
What's the biggest challenge you face?
Alice: In life ? early starts are my biggest challenge. Every time I have to set the alarm for any earlier than 7am it's pretty killer. I don't think I'll ever grow out of that.
Laura: Trying to juggle everything is a challenge. But it's a fun challenge, it's not a bad challenge.
Who do you go to for advice?
Laura: My boyfriend Jon is the best barometer of everything and my moral compass. He's good with advice and good at listening - sometimes he doesn't know what to say but you could talk to him for ages and already feel better about it.
Alice: Obviously friends. But sometimes you need a little panel with the optimist, the pessimist, the realist and then the person who comes at it from a different angle.
Laura: Spread the hell amongst everyone so you don't feel any of it, basically.
What's the worst piece of advice you've received?
Laura: Everything will be ok ? sometimes it's not ok. But it's ok for it not to be ok.
Alice: I was once told in a work meeting that you shouldn't do lots of different things, as people will be confused about what you actually do. I think that's the worst bit of advice I've ever been given because what I do now is lots of different things and I can't imagine it any other way. I remember coming out of that meeting five years ago worried about what I should choose as I liked all these different elements of my job.
Laura: Five years ago people didn't do multiple things as much
Alice: No not as many slashes
Laura: actor-slash-model-slash-DJ?.

Matt Richardson and Ellie Taylor
What's the best piece of advice you've received?
Ellie: "It's not a race it's a dance." No idea what it means but it sounds hashtag deep and sometimes that's all you need.
Matt: When I was thinking about starting stand-up my mum told me to do things so I don't lie on my death bed wondering why I didn't try it. So "go for it" would be the best bit of advice I've ever received.
What advice would you give to your teenage self?
Ellie: Don't use red food colouring as hair dye to try and look like Ginger Spice. Also when you go to uni, don't get a boyfriend in the first term you massive, massive idiot. You'll meet the love of your life at 25 and wish you'd shifted a few more wild oats while you had the chance.
Matt: Stop showing off so much at school, you've got a whole life time to show off professionally and it's really bloody annoying.
What's the biggest challenge you've faced?
Ellie: Making the leap from day job to doing stand up comedy. Terrifying. But great.
Matt: I'm writing my second tour at the moment and it's the hardest thing I've ever done. It's like doing homework I have no idea how to start. The fact that is my biggest mountain to climb means I've had a very charmed life.
Who do you go to for advice?
Ellie: Husband. Mummy. Pieces of drift wood that say things like ?LIVE, LOVE LAUGH"
Matt: My mum. Always. She's brilliant at it.
What's the worst piece of advice you've ever received?
Ellie: "Don't go to sleep on an argument with your partner." Awful idea. Of course you should go to sleep. Give yourself some time to process whatever it is that you're arguing about. Sleep dilutes your anger and you'll wake up feeling more level headed and able to sort things out.
Matt: "Give up comedy, you're s*#??

What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
The best piece of advice or should I say funniest, is from my Dad - He always says the best bargain is the one left on the shelf! He's a proper Northern Man with funny quotes! He has a point mind.
What advice would you give to your teenage self?
Gosh, I'd tell my teenage self that I should stop being afraid, take more risks and even though you may not be the best looking or most popular girl with the boys, you don't have to go out with any old person who asks you out - be selective!
What's the biggest challenge you've faced?
Taking part in a show called 71 Degrees North for ITV where I had to encounter numerous challenges in freezing conditions including diving down into ice holes when I can't swim. The sense of achievement after was indescribable!
Who do you go to for advice?
The only person I go to for advice is my better half Michael (pictured). I've got to use him for something right?! He'll probably say I should listen to him more!
What's the worst piece of advice you've ever received?
Worst piece of advice I've received is that you should never complain when you go to a restaurant if you're not happy with your food. I worked on a consumer show a while back and at the end of the day the customer should always be happy. Just be polite with your complaint!
