About Series 4

Sir David Attenborough returns to W for an all-new and exclusive fourth series of Natural Curiosities - the series that looks at some of the more unconventional members of the natural world.

David Attenborough's Natural Curiosities Series 4

Taking a fresh look at the natural world by exploring extraordinary animals with amazing life histories, Sir David uncovers the myths and misunderstandings that surround these creatures. The series is something of a passion project for Sir David. After over 60 years in broadcasting, he describes this series as unlike anything else he has ever undertaken.

The brand new fourth series - shown in double bills - sees Sir David shine a light on pairs of animals that share incredible traits and abilities: giant pandas and the kiwi are two animals that have made motherhood quite a challenge; dung beetles and pigeons have an extraordinary ability to find their way home; while Siamese fighting fish and kangaroos are both renowned fighters who pack a very different punch.
