Filmed largely before the coronavirus pandemic, this new series sees crews deal with everything from high-speed motorcycle crashes to mysterious aliments and suspected heart attacks, all the time showing the skills, emotions and bravery than can only be seen from inside the ambulance.

In Series 11, South Central paramedics race to a newborn baby with a low temperature, while crews in Oxford and Portsmouth are kept busy with a man vomiting blood and a patient's mysterious hip pain.

Patients in Series 12 include a father and son whose car has been hit by a falling tree, a baby who's struggling to breathe and a builder having a heart attack.
